"Save it for when I've finished walking on water and feeding the masses"

Oh, Rose... :D
Egotistical much? ^_~
cattservant 19th Sep 2013, 1:40 AM edit delete reply

From one point of view;
Tokyo Rose 19th Sep 2013, 7:58 AM edit delete reply

I've got a reputation to uphold!
Centcomm 19th Sep 2013, 9:24 AM edit delete reply

h4ehe i loved that line
Sheela 19th Sep 2013, 8:13 PM edit delete reply

Meh ... shouldn't actually be too hard to do, with their kind of technology.
jamie59 19th Sep 2013, 1:43 AM edit delete reply

LOL!!! I love Rose messiah complex and all.

Humanity is, generally speaking, a teeming mass of selfish, noisy, destructive brats with no moral sense to speak of. Childproofing Planet Earth is not a job to be undertaken lightly. "Stop throwing nuclear weapons at each other--no, I don't care who started it--I know one of you took a chemical dump in the watershed, 'fess up--if you keep making that noise, so help me--I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT--"
Mister Black 19th Sep 2013, 11:34 AM edit delete reply

Reminds me of one of those 'message from the Almighty' billboards from the 90's.

Oh rose you have to let me steal this quote ha ha
HiFranc 25th Apr 2015, 7:36 PM edit delete reply

I've often thought, after seeing/hearing interviews with both sides in a conflict, that, instead of sending negotiators to war zones, they should have a primary school teacher to act as a mediator.

I think the leaders of each nation should engage in hand to hand combat with any hand-held weapon they like. Throwable weapons would be tied to wrists or whatever to make sure it is melee.
Then when one dies, the new leader of that nation can decide whether to continue the dispute or settle...
Centcomm 19th Sep 2013, 9:24 AM edit delete reply

shes totally awesome.
highlander55 19th Sep 2013, 8:10 PM edit delete reply

So Rose is more like: " I'm exceptional, Ask and I will tell you how much!"
Sheela 19th Sep 2013, 8:16 PM edit delete reply

Well, with rose it might be more a case of ...

cattservant 19th Sep 2013, 1:45 AM edit delete reply

Cat DNA!

[Both of them!]

Sheela 19th Sep 2013, 8:17 PM edit delete reply

Dammit, I was hoping for tuna.
cattservant 20th Sep 2013, 10:31 PM edit delete reply

What, tuna DNA?
Centcomm 20th Sep 2013, 11:35 PM edit delete reply

LOL tuna DNA

Human sized tuna ... yumm !

Wow, great :)

So, Tokyo Rose is in Japan (maybe even in Tokyo as her name suggests?)

I am glad that Rose will provide for Galina.

A healthy attitude for first contact, that Rose has.

I just wonder to which panel/bubble the alt text belongs to...

- to arranging normal happy life?
- to fixing things?
- to "shit in the other hand"?
- to walk on water?
- to feed the masses?
- to go back to school?
- to keep her spirits up?
- to be assigned as bodyguard?

...did I miss something?

I am glad Galina is feeling better now. :D

Edit: PS: Do not forget to vote!
velvetsanity 19th Sep 2013, 4:21 AM edit delete reply

How about the page title, "Planning ahead..."
mjkj 19th Sep 2013, 4:49 AM edit delete reply

Yup, I missed that one :)
Centcomm 19th Sep 2013, 9:24 AM edit delete reply

its just a gereral statment :D
Sheela 20th Sep 2013, 6:47 PM edit delete reply

Also forgot the bit about Rose having "been around" ! *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* Know what I mean? know what I mean ? eh? EH ?
mjkj 21st Sep 2013, 3:28 AM edit delete reply

Ah, true. And also Rose communicating via interpretive dance...

There might be some more things I have missed.

Also - tuna...

Sheela 22nd Sep 2013, 5:16 AM edit delete reply

Hrmm ..

Interpretive Dancing = Stripping ?
Stormwind13 23rd Sep 2013, 12:48 PM edit delete reply

Not really, Sheela. Interpretive Dance is normally considered a much HIGHER art form than stripping (though I'm not adverse to a well done stripe tease). :-D
Sheela 24th Sep 2013, 3:19 AM edit delete reply

I'm sure Tokyo Rose could pull both off. :)
cattservant 24th Sep 2013, 5:27 PM edit delete reply

She would have to pull things off to do at least one of them...
Stormwind13 24th Sep 2013, 10:40 PM edit delete reply

LOL. Too true, Cat. :-D
ranger_brianna_new 19th Sep 2013, 6:04 AM edit delete reply

Most certainly am enjoying! :)
Centcomm 19th Sep 2013, 9:25 AM edit delete reply

glad to hear it :D
dpat57 19th Sep 2013, 9:05 AM edit delete reply

CyberSkull 21st Sep 2013, 6:40 AM edit delete reply

Been watching Mel Brooks lately?
mjkj 23rd Sep 2013, 6:24 AM edit delete reply

Hmm, Rose, in the second panel the second speech bubble connector from Tokyo Rose is not really placed well...
Centcomm 23rd Sep 2013, 9:13 AM edit delete reply

where it says "untill ferther notice"?
mjkj 23rd Sep 2013, 11:06 AM edit delete reply

Yup that very same "Until further notice, yes."-bubble connector...
Stormwind13 23rd Sep 2013, 1:00 PM edit delete reply

At least it wasn't even LOWER, mjkj. Then it might have seemed like Rose was talking out of her ... um rear area. :-D
highlander55 23rd Sep 2013, 8:39 PM edit delete reply

Rose is not solid. She can appear to be talking out her ass if she wants too! Or.. well... umm! you know where!
cattservant 23rd Sep 2013, 10:57 PM edit delete reply

A duet perhaps?
mjkj 24th Sep 2013, 3:08 AM edit delete reply

Well, for me it looks more like Rose has, like it was stipulated for TeeDee, some SLTs and just fired a lightning bolt...
cattservant 24th Sep 2013, 3:11 AM edit delete reply

And being Rose, it would be coherent lightning!
mjkj 24th Sep 2013, 3:16 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, of course. And understandable and multilingual...

...fitting perfectly to the interpretive dance...

cattservant 24th Sep 2013, 3:31 AM edit delete reply

A universal language!
mjkj 24th Sep 2013, 3:54 AM edit delete reply

Caley Tibbittz Collopy 21st Jan 2014, 3:34 PM edit delete reply

I've been complimenting the writing for pages now, and incredibly, this one's even better. "Interpretive dance", especially, but also all of it. Bravo.
