Yes Galina totally forgot the call button.. and besides most of them think shes just a machine. More than a few wouldnt even care if she was sitting there screaming her head off. its like the car alarm blaring that you shrug and go back to what your doing. and she does NOT have access to the comm panel on the far wall. nor does May, So May is going to GET Kiku in person.

Yeah, kind of figured that Galina couldn't get a communication out. And the way the nurse (Nurse Miller) acted, I wouldn't be in a big hurry to punch that call button either. I mean, Galina is already immobile, does she totally need to be outnumbered too? :-p
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:48 AM edit delete reply

Appernently so..
cattservant 14th Jan 2014, 12:08 AM edit delete reply

And why is Amy off her game today?

The Doctor is remarkably self absorbed. Perhaps his high intelligence came at the cost of of his social development.
jamie59 14th Jan 2014, 12:29 AM edit delete reply

She has never been on her game. Too many "directives" they're in conflict.
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 7:37 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, in fact, this is one of the areas where Galina could both help her and impress the doctor, by showing him what they're doing wrong.

Nothing like having someone show that they are as good at something as you yourself are, to make you change your opinion on them.

... if he gives her the chance to show him, that is.
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:49 AM edit delete reply

yah know Granger is like those nerds that simply never really gave a damn about anyone because they were smarter than everyone else.
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 9:14 PM edit delete reply

And that would be why he might never give her the chance in the first place.
highlander55 14th Jan 2014, 11:48 PM edit delete reply

Being so smart as a child he was probably bullied too. Introverted from it I would imagine! Showing others how smart he is by making others look dumb is a defense mechanism for him. But it only gets him more disrespect from others.
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:57 PM edit delete reply

you are probably dead on :D
Sheela 15th Jan 2014, 9:35 PM edit delete reply

Ah well, even in the meanest stinkers, there's often a few redeeming qualities.
I just hope we get to see some of them before the captains squashes him.

Sometimes bit players become more involved in a story than originally intended (*cough* Dolly *cough*). And he's an interesting personality after all. Heck, for all we know he might do Galina some good ?

Dr. Granger : "She has a broken spine ?"
Dr. Granger : *sigh* Why didn't they just fix that?"
*fixes Galina*
Dr. Granger : "Now stand over there in the corner so I can clear this workspace for my work!"

Nobody ever said his work was about Galina.
Centcomm 15th Jan 2014, 9:51 PM edit delete reply

Very true .. that is so very true.

(( fricking Dolly.. *eye roll* LOL ))
Sheela 15th Jan 2014, 10:07 PM edit delete reply

Ah, but Dolly also has so many redeeming qualities, like .. boobies. :)
Offcourse, the most likely scenario would be something like :

Happy Centcomm : "La la la la - Doing my thing, writing the comic, gonna be on time, won't miss the deadline."
Happy Centcomm : "Lynn, Calliope and Cencomm ... and Dolly ?"
Happy Centcomm : "Dolly, what are you doing in there ?"
Dolly : "Going after Lynn!"
Annoyed Centcomm : "But .. you already beat up the waster woman for info, you're supposed to be in transit now."
Dolly : "Oh look, there's Mr Breaker .. hmm .. he's being nice to me."
Exparated Centcomm : "Dolly NO! You can't have a romantic affair, you don't have time for that now!"
Dolly : "Romantishc offaire ? pshh. naw. he's just tryin' ta get inna my pants!"
Angry Centcomm : "Dammit Dolly, don't you dare pick up a useless waster like that, he's NOTHING to the story!"
Dolly : "Taking mah clothes offa me nao !" *giggle*
Angry Centcomm : "DOLLY DAMMIT!"
Dolly : *passes out on top of Breakers penis*
Defeated Centcomm : *siiigh* "Dammit Dolly, I'm gonna have to write in a huge hangover for you."
Ceci : "Oh hey .. you. What's that thing behind you, it looks like a .. line, with teeth ?"
Startled Centcomm : "GAH, the deadline!!"
Centcomm 15th Jan 2014, 10:25 PM edit delete reply

HAHAHAH ! yah.. something like that.. *faceplams*
Sheela 15th Jan 2014, 10:37 PM edit delete reply

Damn those characters for writing themselves, huh ? :)
Centcomm 15th Jan 2014, 10:38 PM edit delete reply

indeed ..

mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 12:35 AM edit delete reply

I just hope May will find captain Kiku soon.

And why does that creep need the door locked?

I wonder what would happen if Galina would order Amy with a directive to protect her from that creep...

Poor Galina and poor Amy...

*hugs Galina, May and Amy*

I am really looking forward to what Rose will do with that creep when she will learn about that incident...

Stormwind13 14th Jan 2014, 12:41 AM edit delete reply

You do NOT want to know why he wants the door locked, mjkj. It would only give you nightmares. :-p Pray that the Captain shows up and actually has the overrides for the lock.

And if Rose catches up with the Granger, it better be in a red room, because she will turn him into paste I think.
cattservant 14th Jan 2014, 12:55 AM edit delete reply

The Captain has two 'keys' on her belt.
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 1:16 AM edit delete reply

I believe that captain has override commands for all doors...

I just hope she will arrive before that creep hurts Galina and Amy...
velvetsanity 14th Jan 2014, 2:18 AM edit delete reply

Of course she has command overrides for all doors. Her skeleton key is more commonly known as "9mm full metal jacket". :D
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 7:40 AM edit delete reply

More likely she uses something like a 2mm plasma bolt.
Much better penetration on door's 'n' such.

That said, she probably have a master keycard to open doors with, if that is even needed .. heck, the doors themselves might recognize her automatically.
Stormwind13 14th Jan 2014, 7:14 PM edit delete reply

Not sure I would want to be doing that, velvet. I mean, it is a HOSPITAL behind the door and ricochets happen. Would kind of suck to put a bullet into your principal's head. :-p
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:51 AM edit delete reply

well one thing that I can assure you of is that Granger does not see Galina as a girl or woman. simply a machine. a super fancy really well designed machine. if asked if he thought Amy or Galina was "pretty" his responce would be .. "in what way?" totally deadpan.. So gali has nothing to fear from granger in that department although Granger does understand the need for "Sex toys" That is one of Amy's functions. However Amy still looks "creepy" galina looks and acts human. THAT is what intrests Granger is the HOW and the WHY Galina acts so human...
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 4:59 PM edit delete reply

Poor Amy...
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 9:16 PM edit delete reply

Well, in order to find out how she acts so human, he will have to "interface" with her .. ie. talk to her.
After all, if she's truly a machine, she shouldn't be able to lie to him, so he should simply be able to ask her and she would spill all her secrets.

He might be in for a disappointment. :D
Antonious 14th Jan 2014, 9:51 PM edit delete reply

As far as poopy head Granger is concerned, the only interfacing he intends is interfacing his diagnostics and analysis machines with any connections he can find on, or IN, Galina. Just as a mechanic's first interest is opening the hood or access panel to a car's onboard computer.
velvetsanity 15th Jan 2014, 1:44 AM edit delete reply

I'm just waiting to see if the Captain gets Rose on the line to rip him a new one or ten.
Stormwind13 15th Jan 2014, 9:13 PM edit delete reply

I know Granger isn't going to sexually attack Galina. Never figured him for that.

What I fear Granger has in mind is every bit as BAD, as much a rape as if he DID sexually assault her. :-p By ignoring Galina's rights as a sentient entity, by not seeking her consent (because he doesn't think it is necessary) and by forcing his examination on her (which is what I think he is interested in) Granger will treat Galina as badly as a rapist treats their victims. :-(
Dragonrider 14th Jan 2014, 12:55 AM edit delete reply

This may end well for our heroine but she's going to go through hell until it's over.
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 1:08 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, I hope she will get some good counceling afterwards...
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:47 AM edit delete reply

*looks innocent*
Dragonrider 14th Jan 2014, 5:18 PM edit delete reply

Innocent? That's about as likely as Dr. Rotwang getting the Nobel peace prize.
Stormwind13 14th Jan 2014, 7:15 PM edit delete reply

Well, THAT doesn't work, CentComm. We KNOW you aren't innocent. :-p
JacobJSebastian 14th Jan 2014, 5:20 AM edit delete reply

..."Miss Uncanny Valley"... BWAH HA HAHAHA!!! ROFL
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 7:43 AM edit delete reply

Gotta say, it's a pretty good comeback by May.

However, Amy acting "glitchy" after Galina handled her ?
Just how much did Galina work on her before she ran out of that room ?
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 8:48 AM edit delete reply

As far as I can remember she did touch neither her nor her code (she just looked at it (the code) and its conflicting programming which is hurting Amy) - she ran before she did any changes because of Jet's reaction to Amy and unwillingness to help her ease her pain - her not being a person but soulless clockwork...
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 11:47 AM edit delete reply

Remember its been a few days sense Rainer died..
Stormwind13 14th Jan 2014, 7:25 PM edit delete reply

Yes, mjkj Galina didn't do anything INTENTIONAL; however, by poking at Amy's programming did something ELSE get done? I mean, Amy was programmed to learn from her environment I believe. Well, Galina got into Amy's environment, so what did she learn while Galina was examining her?

Might explain Amy's glitches. :-) Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 12:03 PM edit delete reply

I loved that line actually Mayyday first wrote the line and Rose just cleaned it up Mayyday from Zelfia wrote all of May Tempests lines. :D
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 12:58 PM edit delete reply

Wow, nice, Mayyday really did? Great :)
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 2:49 PM edit delete reply

Yep he really enjoyed it too :D
Sheela 14th Jan 2014, 9:19 PM edit delete reply

Even if Galina didn't directly code anything, she would have overheard her's and Jets conversation.

If Amy is as smart as I think she is, that alone could have changed things a fair bit, especially once she learned that Galina is an android too.
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 10:00 PM edit delete reply

Amy might have learned she is a person, too, not just clockwork...
Hornet 14th Jan 2014, 2:26 PM edit delete reply
Gali needs this
Centcomm 14th Jan 2014, 2:49 PM edit delete reply

BUHAHAH! awesome - I remember that..
mjkj 14th Jan 2014, 7:29 PM edit delete reply

Ah, the good ol' RoboCop...
