First time deploying. Chin up. Trust your fellow crewmen and women.

plymayer 20th May 2014, 12:43 AM edit delete reply

....Hmmmm....

...The sad piano music from the end of every Incredible Hulk show? No. That doesn't work.

....The sad music from the Way We Were? Nope.

...How about happy growing up music instead?
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 2:12 AM edit delete reply

hmm dunno :D
jamie59 20th May 2014, 1:04 AM edit delete reply

Gali keeps showing how human she is.
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 2:13 AM edit delete reply

She sure does doesnt she :D
Stormwind13 20th May 2014, 6:56 AM edit delete reply

Very good point, jamie. Galina really is human, no matter what her origins.
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 3:54 PM edit delete reply

very true :D

I think the music from this would fit a bit better. Just my opinion, though.

Come back safely...
Dragonrider 20th May 2014, 8:39 AM edit delete reply

First time away from home, hurts both sides.
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 3:54 PM edit delete reply

it does so very much :D
Stormwind13 20th May 2014, 6:35 PM edit delete reply

Yeah, but for most of Galina's life she didn't HAVE a home, Dragonrider. She had a place to be, not a home. So it is REALLY hitting her hard. You can feel it radiating from the screen. :-)

Great job with the images, CentComm in conveying that. And you too Rose. The dialogue helped convey the emotions being felt too. :-)
highlander55 20th May 2014, 10:44 PM edit delete reply

@Storm, Hard to believe Rose could come up with something this touching. If so she does have a soft side. BUSTED ROSE!!! HaHaHa!
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 11:03 PM edit delete reply

You should see the work she does in Datachasers - her softer side does come out .. trust me :D
Stormwind13 21st May 2014, 5:40 PM edit delete reply

Watch it, highlander or she might visit you to prove her thorny ball of hate status. And it would SUCK for you in that case, I think. :-D
Tokyo Rose 21st May 2014, 8:00 PM edit delete reply

Gali is walking away from the first real "home" she's ever had, into a potentially very dangerous situation. It would be doing a disservice to the characters and story if we'd just had her skip away chirping "LATERS!", don't you think?
Stormwind13 21st May 2014, 10:32 PM edit delete reply

Very much so. I think you did a masterful job in capturing the moment, Rose.

I just wondering who is going to PAY for you having to be in touch with those soft feelings for that long. :-D Should we put out a Tokyo Rose 'warning' for the Phoenix area through Memorial Day? :-D
Centcomm 20th May 2014, 11:02 PM edit delete reply

Bows - Rose did a excellent job on this :D
highlander55 21st May 2014, 7:37 PM edit delete reply

Rose's mood pendulum swings both ways.
Centcomm 21st May 2014, 7:45 PM edit delete reply

it really does..
Caley Tibbittz Collopy 15th Jul 2014, 7:26 PM edit delete reply

I got chills and misty-eyed from the simple beauty of this human connection, in the moment where she says she doesn't know if she'll ever see her mom again. And I can't even blame it all on sleep deprivation -- some of it is talent on your parts. Damn you both, makin' me feel ways about things.
