Well they are apparently well matched. Both read all they could get their hands on. :-D

What's a good cliff hanging rescue without a little blood and scrapes?

Some times panicking is the right thing to do. Calm head here me thinks.
Centcomm 11th Nov 2014, 3:35 AM edit delete reply

yeah all panic will do here is be bad..
Fairportfan 11th Nov 2014, 7:23 AM edit delete reply

The Goodies (if you don't know it, a hilarious Britcom from the Seventies - sort of like "Monty Python" crossed with "The Goon Show"):

GRAEME: We should not tell Tim about this.

BILL: Right. He'd just panic.

GRAEME: ...and that we do not need.

BILL: 'Course not. We can do that ourselves.

(both run around frantically, waving hands and gibbering in panic)

Hard to find these days. Do have a "best of" DVD.

But... "What’s wrong with scared? Scared is a superpower! Your superpower! There is danger in this room. And guess what? It’s you. Do you feel it? Do you think he feels it? Do you think he’s scared? Nah. Loser!"
Centcomm 11th Nov 2014, 7:17 AM edit delete reply

Run in circles,
Scream and shout.

"The last thing we want to do is panic."
"Good, then we're doing things in the right order."
Vivocateur 11th Nov 2014, 3:16 AM edit delete reply

The lighting you used in the fourth panel is really striking.
Centcomm 11th Nov 2014, 3:35 AM edit delete reply

Thank you ! - Yeah our little Gali is certainly growing up fast :D :D
DizzasterJuice 11th Nov 2014, 2:02 PM edit delete reply

Jet gets turned on by reading the ship manuals... it's good to know that Gali is safe in the hands of an uber-nerd.
Centcomm 11th Nov 2014, 2:29 PM edit delete reply

Its more that she has the same habits when bored .. reading anything she can get her dainty little hands on..
Tokyo Rose 11th Nov 2014, 8:36 PM edit delete reply

Not only does she read ship tech manuals, she REMEMBERS them, and can APPLY them.

SUPER. HOT. For a moment, before the grim situation impinged on his awareness again, Jet's nerd-boner probably generated its own singularity.
DLKmusic 11th Nov 2014, 10:08 PM edit delete reply

I know I might be a minority of one here, but I liked Col. Taylor a lot (up until he shot Kiku),
I know it's strange of me, but I'm really hoping she CAN reason with him.

As always, top notch work, and the dialog flow in this one was really well done... You really feel like she can pull it off.
Stormwind13 11th Nov 2014, 10:56 PM edit delete reply

I think Galina liked Colonel Taylor a lot too, DLK. Despite his military background, he treated her like a PERSON. So Galina wants to see if she can call him back from the abyss he is staring into.

I hope Galina can reason with Taylor also, DLK. Now to see if Colonel Taylor is human enough and strong enough to accept what he has done and try to make amends. Or if Jet gets to jettison him, and his lineage carries on from one of the three (maybe four, if the one in the cooker comes out okay) kids he already has. Being raised without a father is tough though.
Centcomm 12th Nov 2014, 2:10 PM edit delete reply

thats the bad part Galina DOES like the col... He treated her fairly and like a human zero reservation. She really wants to save everyone....
Stormwind13 12th Nov 2014, 10:08 PM edit delete reply

But sometimes in order to save the world, sacrifices need to be made. So, who will live and who will die to save humanity from the alien invaders!
mjkj 12th Nov 2014, 4:29 AM edit delete reply

Gah, I thought I had already commented here.

Well, Gali, do not hurry so much, stay calm, and be careful! I do not want you to be hurt - see, if you keep that up you might get hurt worse...
