Looking at this page again, I realized it's probably hard to see and I should have done something to make it more obvious--Taylor stopped talking to or listening to "Betty" a while back, but he's addressing the combat computer again in the first panel.

OMG ya posted early!

(Or was I just logging in really really late?)

And a very well put together argument as well. Remind me to not take her on in debate!
Centcomm 27th Nov 2014, 12:29 AM edit delete reply

Luna Star posts a hour earlier than DC don't know why.. and yes shes brilliant .. remember that :D and she never forgets facts :D
Dragonrider 27th Nov 2014, 1:10 AM edit delete reply

Posting is due to changes in time with Daylight Savings time. Before LS was posting at 11 PM DC at Midnight.

Galina has it all, Haegan. Beautiful, smart and a genuinely nice personality (I wonder if Mr. Black got an old vid of her or something to name his drive brain). :-) She is someone I wish I could know, for real.

Galina can also be very forthright, though she can still get her emotions engaged as seen in the last couple pages. She is seriously peeved at the Colonel for not paying better attention to all the things telling him he was WRONG! And then pointing a gun at her, last straw. :-)
Centcomm 27th Nov 2014, 4:17 AM edit delete reply

O-o oh? yeah Galina is realizing shes playing high stakes poker :D lets hope she has a flush :D
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 11:34 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, and not a busted Flush. I fear that Galina would bluff VERY poorly in that case.
Haegan2005 27th Nov 2014, 2:52 PM edit delete reply

We actually do not know if she is dead or not in the current timeline. At least I cannot remember a mention of it.
jamie59 27th Nov 2014, 1:01 AM edit delete reply

Boxed hum into a corner.
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 1:04 AM edit delete reply

Pretty much, jamie. Back him into the corner, kicked his legs out from under him and dropped Daddy's Little Girl on him. He is DOWN for the count, I think. :-D
DLKmusic 27th Nov 2014, 1:43 AM edit delete reply

Agreed... I wish I could think that well on MY feet!

And "But the transmissions... it's effects..." Am I mistaken, or did Colonel Taylor just have a coherent thought?
Centcomm 27th Nov 2014, 4:17 AM edit delete reply

boxed and wrapped :D
DizzasterJuice 27th Nov 2014, 1:11 AM edit delete reply

Damn it! I sooo wanted to see him spaced out of an airlock or something. Then just dump the nukes off on the aliens. They only want your bodies to lay their eggs in anyway.
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 1:14 AM edit delete reply

Poor Dizz. Doomed to be disappointed, I think. :-)

velvetsanity 27th Nov 2014, 1:48 AM edit delete reply

Gali! Gali! Gali!
Centcomm 27th Nov 2014, 4:16 AM edit delete reply

Galina has her own cheering squad :D
Sheela 27th Nov 2014, 1:52 PM edit delete reply

It's very small though, the others got eaten by a giant armadillo. :D
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 2:25 PM edit delete reply

Aren't those called Murder Turds in DC's world? :-D
mjkj 27th Nov 2014, 5:26 AM edit delete reply

Wow, Gali, you made an impact - you may even have made it through his thick skull...

*hugs Gali*

Centcomm 27th Nov 2014, 7:03 AM edit delete reply

She might have :D
mjkj 27th Nov 2014, 8:37 AM edit delete reply

Hopefully she did...
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 11:41 AM edit delete reply

+25 'Bullet' of penetrating TRUTH. :-D
Matt Knab 27th Nov 2014, 11:36 AM edit delete reply

Your move, big guy.
Sheela 27th Nov 2014, 1:53 PM edit delete reply

*Colonel Taylor uses boot to the head*
*it's super effective*
Stormwind13 27th Nov 2014, 2:27 PM edit delete reply

Ack, I hope NOT, Sheela! Galina has already been down that route with a cyborg dude. She did NOT enjoy the experience. I doubt it would get anymore fun with a repeat!
Centcomm 30th Nov 2014, 3:28 AM edit delete reply

Yes that it is :D

At Sheela .. you realize that would probably kill her as surely as a bullet?
Sheela 30th Nov 2014, 9:03 AM edit delete reply

I do ... hence why it would be super effective.
jas 28th Nov 2014, 12:16 PM edit delete reply

Good page! Smooth dialogue and Gali just might be getting through to this guy...hopefully.
Centcomm 30th Nov 2014, 3:28 AM edit delete reply

thank you - and yep looks like it :D
Timotheus 29th Nov 2014, 11:25 PM edit delete reply

Regrettably, the suspense level is not as high as it could be since Data Chasers let it be known that Galina will make it through at least far enough to accomplish her mission of establishing contact and resolving the communication problem. Who else makes it and under what conditions the ship returns is still debatable.
Centcomm 30th Nov 2014, 3:29 AM edit delete reply

Yes I do realize that. but this is covering events that have already happened. and I really didn't want to put DC on hold till Luna Star was done :D
Timotheus 30th Nov 2014, 5:08 AM edit delete reply

But I will complement you on leaving nearly everything else up for grabs like I said. Other than that the ship makes it back intact (with a reputation of being haunted) and Galina's future reputation as a negotiator during this event, nothing else has been locked down.
For all we know Edict brings a hull breached radioactive ship back with everything recorded on tape and the doc nursing a couple frozen survivors in cold sleep hoping they're not brain dead.
Centcomm 30th Nov 2014, 5:36 AM edit delete reply

yep technically no ones safe right now.. esp now :D the scenario is very possible ..
Sheela 30th Nov 2014, 7:51 PM edit delete reply

Besides, sometimes, the cat door .. is closed!
Centcomm 30th Nov 2014, 8:19 PM edit delete reply

Awww thats adorable :D
Sheela 30th Nov 2014, 8:56 PM edit delete reply

Adorable ? ADORABLE ?

You mock poor Henri's torment ?
Noone understands his pain!

You are probably one of those evil people that do cat yodeling too ?
DLKmusic 1st Dec 2014, 10:38 PM edit delete reply

I would never knock a poor cat's torment, Sheela... My cat, Specimen 241, get's treated well!
Sheela 9th Dec 2014, 3:37 PM edit delete reply

Specimen 242 on the other hand ....
