She's only seen clouds from above. Maybe she'll feel her first rain.
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 12:30 AM edit delete reply

always a possibility :D
Sheela 17th Feb 2015, 1:32 PM edit delete reply

"Dammit, why would it have to be a snowstorm ?" >:(
Haegan2005 17th Feb 2015, 12:11 AM edit delete reply

I keep waiting for HAL to show up. good job of wonder in their voices!
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 12:30 AM edit delete reply

that is a true compliment :D
Stormwind13 17th Feb 2015, 12:20 AM edit delete reply

Excited as a little kid. Clouds are just overly ambitious water droplets.

Have to agree with Haegan though, good job (Rose) of projecting the emotions on the page. And you can see the wonder on Galina's face, so good job CentComm.
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 12:30 AM edit delete reply

Blush ! aww thanks guys :D Rose did do a fantastic job with this :D
DizzasterJuice 17th Feb 2015, 12:31 AM edit delete reply

Where's the damn greeting party?!
Yeah it's a good thing that little bot hasn't noticed you. It's got probes. Doh!
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 2:17 AM edit delete reply

I know right! Probes! its all about the probes! :D
Sheela 17th Feb 2015, 1:33 PM edit delete reply

Don't pick up the soap!

... and who knows, maybe she has already met a space alien.
... the ship itself.
Quieteyes 21st Feb 2015, 11:47 AM edit delete reply
And suddenly the statement "Imperial Probe Droid" takes on a whole new, and thoroughly disturbing, meaning. 8-O
velvetsanity 17th Feb 2015, 12:34 AM edit delete reply

BEAUTIFULLY done page.

Are space tigers anything like samurai pizza cats?
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 2:17 AM edit delete reply

just a little - And thank you :D
velvetsanity 17th Feb 2015, 9:39 AM edit delete reply

You and Rose both deserve full credit for this page. It's a masterpiece in both visuals and dialogue. ^_^
Sheela 17th Feb 2015, 1:34 PM edit delete reply

Yes, except Space Tigers are big enough that you can ride them.
Timotheus 17th Feb 2015, 1:58 AM edit delete reply

So PVC pipe is a universal decor item? Are the aliens going to resemble the Blue Man Group (or Green Man Group)?
It would be an appropriate background music I suppose.
Centcomm 17th Feb 2015, 2:18 AM edit delete reply

all PVC everywhere in the universe :D
DLKmusic 17th Feb 2015, 3:35 AM edit delete reply

I am so over comparing this to 2001 a space odyssey. From now on, I'm comparing 2001 to THIS!!!

Awesome page, cent. and btw, maybe someone should warn Galli that the writing says "disintegration chamber Number 5".
Lurker 17th Feb 2015, 4:25 AM edit delete reply
No, it says, "To Serve Humanity".
velvetsanity 17th Feb 2015, 9:45 AM edit delete reply

To enslave humanity? To snatch bodies? Authorized Spluggorth only? Clothing optional beyond this point? Body coverings forbidden beyond this point? Probe lab ahead? Ooh! I know! 'Beware of Sheela!' :D
Sheela 17th Feb 2015, 1:36 PM edit delete reply

I have been found out!
Abort, Abort !!

o.O
velvetsanity 17th Feb 2015, 7:18 PM edit delete reply

Well, you *do* chew slippers, Sheela :D
DizzasterJuice 17th Feb 2015, 2:32 PM edit delete reply

Hahaa! I can tell you're a Twilight Zone fan.
"Stop! Don't go in there. We translated the rest of the book. 'To Serve Humanity', it's a cookbook!"
Lurker 19th Feb 2015, 4:09 AM edit delete reply
Honestly, I figured with this crowd, everyone would get the reference. :P
Quieteyes 21st Feb 2015, 11:53 AM edit delete reply
Not to be picky, but wasn't it, "To Serve Man"?

Okay, yeah, I'm being picky. :-)
cattservant 17th Feb 2015, 6:26 AM edit delete reply

looked at clouds
from both sides now...
Hornet 17th Feb 2015, 12:17 PM edit delete reply
Hmm. then it's fog. :P
Sheela 17th Feb 2015, 1:36 PM edit delete reply

No, that's when you have your head in the clouds.

... literally!
Rms2000 17th Feb 2015, 1:56 PM edit delete reply

There are a lot of interesting possibilities for what the sign could say. If this were a human ship, it would most likely say "airlock" or "decontamination chamber", but that's boring, so I'd like to consider some more interesting options:
"Initiate bay sterilization?"
"Security Robot. Status: Standby. Activate?"
"By activating this holopanel, I hereby agree to be bound by the terms of the following agreement..."
Or to take a few from some of humanity's signs:
"Private Property. Trespassers will be shot"
"Beware of Dog"
"Danger: high voltage"
"Do Not Disturb"
"RU-Safe child-proof door controls"
"Message of the Day:..."
"Help Wanted"
"Falling Rock"
"No Cellphones Beyond This Point"
"No Smoking"
"Do not walk on the grass"
"Construction Zone"
"Refreshment Dispensery"
"Elevator Mechanical Room"
"Office of Dr."
"Don't want to Let Him Down? Try LeTitsNow. only $99.99 for the first annual treatment"

I've exhausted my present supply of interesting ideas, but I'm sure there's still some good ones left.
Hornet 17th Feb 2015, 6:43 PM edit delete reply

REALLY enjoying the dialogue on this page. Arthur C. Clarke meets Joss Whedon. Sign me up!
