Directive being a "technical" term to which Galina is 'not' responding. Of course she does have definite inhibitions!
I'm guessing the Doctor is holding a steak-knife and the question is which end of it is she going to apply to Galina's hand.
Why am I seeing images of the guy jabbing the android in AI to prove she feels pain and learns to avoid/fear it? *chokes on actors name, tho see's his face* Plus the ignoring what should be 'core commands' is a decent demonstration of lack of programmed emulation. 'Bleeding' if jabbed/sliced, I wonder? Her eyes rupturing in vacuum were kinda messy.
the next update will clarify the whole "Directive" thing :D but as you can see , shes not impressed with the word XD and yeah combination of intense cold and pressure diffrence shattered the delicate optics she uses. its roughly the same thing as ruptures that occur in humans exposed to vaccum ( accrding to best research - and it can blind you.
"Prick me, do I not bleed?
Wrong me, do I not revenge?
Put a knife in my hand, do I not cut the cheese?" - Something by Shakespeare, as best I can remember it.
