Do Dramatic One-Winged Angels Fly in Descending Circles?
Dianna Silver 3rd Nov 2012, 5:17 AM edit delete reply

Well, apparently from the various video games and the Advent Children movie, Sephiroth flies just fine with one wing. *Chuckles* No circles, just a descent into madness.

As long as it is dramatic!

Thank you for sharing you skills with us.

Are you familiar with the literary works of E.R. Eddison? Some elegant visions there!

Pretty good! She just got DAZ up and running?! Dammit everyone's a genius except me!
Centcomm 3rd Nov 2012, 4:36 AM edit delete reply

well to be fair shes used it as long as I have. but her old 32 bit system couldnt handle the new 4.5 so she just moved to a 64 bit system, hey she taught ME some tricks :D and you could do this too ya know!

The oldest render I have posted on my Deviant Art page is from Feb, 2008. That's how long I've been tinkering with DAZ Studio. Really, anyone interested in seeing what else I've done aside from what Terri's posted here and there as filler really needs to go to my DA page at http://diannasilver.deviantart.com/ because that's where I post my renders that are not XXX rated (The XXX ones are elsewhere.)

Specifically what happened was that when I upgraded to Studio 4.5, I couldn't render anything even slightly complex without hitting the memory limitation inherent in 32-bit operating systems, which sucked because I have 4Gb RAM as it is. Sometimes I'd get a render then a crash, but mostly I'd get a crash just trying a spot render to see how a shader or the lighting looked. So I took the plunge and replaced my OS with Windows 7 64-bit and have been really happy. I've been able to actually render stuff again, yay! I still have to try a few more things that would make Studio crash and see if it still does, but so far, no crashes from what I've tried yet.

Though I am trying to figure out how Final Fantasy VII's villain, Sephiroth, is even remotely related to Luna Star... >.>

Sephirot is my first love from the FF series <3

We aim to please :D rather Miss Silver does!
Dianna Silver 4th Nov 2012, 2:20 AM edit delete reply

Yeah, I have the hots for Sephiroth as well. To me, he was the best thing in FF7 (I'm one of those weirdos that liked FF8 better than FF7, though my absolute, all-time favorite Final Fantasy title is FF Tactics.)

PS, if any of you readers out there pop into Second Life at all, you should visit my land in Apoda/Chiron/Sibine. Believe it or not, having land in SL then having to give it up (at the time, thought it was permanently) and still having the yearn to slap together 3D models into something is what got me into DAZ Studio and making renders in the first place.

FF6 FTW!

(hated 7 to the point that it turned me off from the entire series)

*Looks at his own comment from previous page* I always knew she'd be back. Never a moment of doubt from me! Right, Cent? TD, get your gun ready. We wouldn't want Cent to get the wrong idea of the comment I'm referring to, now would we?
